Zagarolo, a real Nativity set It's very rare to see snow in Rome. It's a little bit easier to get snow on hill towns as Zagarolo than in Rome and, when this happen, seems to be part of a Nativity set.
Today 2010 february 12th, after 5 years we woke up and light outside was
much brighter. What's going on?
Is snowing!! Wow, this is a big event!!
West side of our garden!!
We finally got the snow and here is the west of our garden.
This is the first picture I posted but the last one I got.
My camera maybe it's not used to the snow and went on strike. So "Italiana" :))
East side of our garden!!
Behind the trees, the nearby mountains are covered by a deep & fuffy snow.
Unfortunately due the unexpected strike I can't show you the beauty of the olive trees covered by the snow.
As my camera, they don't particularly like the snow but it's an unusual but beautiful scenary.
San Peter Dome !!
Don't get me wrong!! That's another one!! This is Zagarolo's San Peter Church and its dome.
Never seen it? That's a pity!! Schedule for next trip.
It's absolutely worth a visit!
Our Nativity set - the jem!!
Isn't it pretty ?
The first time I have seen the town of Zagarolo with the snow I almost cried.
I Love it!!
Gosh it's cold! Yes, it is but ... I better stay here and check out the snow doesn't melt to quickly.
Five years, is a too long to wait!
