An Italian / Finnish couple interested in sharing our hospitality with you when you visit Rome and its beautiful countryside.


After traveling to many different countries and experiencing many different cultures, we decided to create a small and intimate paradise to savour, with our friends and guests, the pleasure of a simple life based on natural and simple values.

Our Bed and Breakfast is located on a rolling hill covered with olive trees. It is from here that we selected the name "Il Colle degli Ulivi" (in English, the name literally means "Olive Tree Hill"). Our B&B is designed to guarantee maximum comfort and relaxation. The rooms offer every convenience to ensure a pleasant stay in any season. 

The garden, tucked between olive trees and surrounded by Mediterranean herbs, is the ideal place to organize an excursion to Rome, while listening to the singing of the birds or sipping a glass of locally produced wine.

To make the most of your vacation, we offer a wide range of services to help you to get in contact with the culture and the history of this wonderful country. In a short time, you can experience the scents, scenes, history, curiosities and flavours of Italy. We are here to help guide you on your tour of Italy and Rome.

To lovers of the Italian cuisine, we recommend sharing the traditional culinary appointments of our Bed and Breakfast. Our meals are prepared in the traditional Mediterranean style, often based on seasonal and homemade products.

For long time "Il Colle degli Ulivi" has been top rated on the B&B Rome list on Tripadvisor.

Due a new listing procedure, Tripadvisor decided then to move this and other B&Bs located in the "greater city"
under their own town/municipality list.

A big damage for both hosts providing an high quality service and  a valid alternative to the most central accomodation and for the travellers that have now hard time to find an option to a noicy and expensive city center.

Despite this, "Il Colle degli Ulivi" is still top rated in Lazio (Rome's regions).
